Tampa, Florida – This event was designed to engage youth in discussion to facilitate their role in facilitating favorable encounters with law enforcement.
Public Forum
Fort Myers, Florida – The dialogue goal was to engage community leaders, youth and surrounding districts in discussion to share best practices and develop recommendations to improve the outcome for black males. Also, to facilitate the youth’s role in facilitating favorable encounters with law enforcement.
Teen Workshop
Miami, Florida – “Effective Youth Engagement: MAKiN iT Day” This event engaged youth in activities that challenged their thinking in what is considered under-achievement and activities centered around the importance of MAKiN’ good decisions about life choices, education, and career development.(Questionnaires Distributed)
