The Florida Council on the Social Status of Black Men and Boys is building a statewide
Research & Policy Impact Hub—our future home for original Council research,
legislative briefs, public dashboards, and curated data from state agencies. This
initiative will elevate the Council as a leading authority and resource on the social status
of Black men and boys in Florida.
Our Research Approach
We will conduct, commission, and curate research that addresses the systemic barriers
facing Black males in Florida. Our methods will include:
Mixed-methods data analysis (quantitative + qualitative)
Policy evaluation and white papers
Community-based research and surveys
State agency data interpretation and public translation
