Raegene Anderson

Administrative Assistant II

Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Raegene Anderson serves as the council’s Administrative Assistant II. Before joining the Office of the Attorney General, Raegene graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Upon returning to school a year later, she would then receive a master’s and Specialist degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with her primary focus on the mental health of people of color and eating disorders in the younger population.

Raegene’s previous administrative background includes working as a receptionist for the State Fire Marshal, a Government Operations Consultant for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and a staff assistant for the Division of Public Assistance Fraud. Her knowledge includes assistance with purchasing, coordinating interviews, and travel reimbursement, as well as a plethora of other duties assigned.Since joining the team, Raegene intends to continue helping the council grow and excel while hoping to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology. She currently resides in Tallahassee, Florida, where she enjoys attending live music events, volunteering at various organizations, and taking road trips with friends and family in her free time.
